The Wisconsin Laborers-Employers Cooperation and Education Trust (Wisconsin LECET) was established in 1991 to facilitate communication and cooperation between the Wisconsin Laborers District Council, local Laborers Unions and employers of union laborers. Wisconsin LECET promotes the productivity of well trained union laborers and the management skills of their employers. Wisconsin LECET also enhances the competitiveness of union employers by promoting health and safety issues, training initiatives and compliance with prevailing wage requirements. Wisconsin LECET works with local, state and national government, construction professionals and appropriate organizations to promote economic development and increase work opportunities for signatory employers and union laborers.
